What is Retargeting?

Retargeting (Remarketing)

Retargeting (also called remarketing) is advertising that shows ads to people who already visited your website or engaged with you but didn't convert. Using a small tracking pixel, platforms like Google and Meta let you follow up with those warm visitors across other sites and apps. Because these people already know you, retargeting typically converts at a much higher rate and lower cost than cold advertising. Used well — with frequency caps and relevant offers — it recovers lost leads; overused, it feels like stalking, so thoughtful timing and creative matter.
