Landing Page
A landing page is a standalone web page built for a single purpose — usually to convert visitors from a specific ad or campaign into leads or customers. Unlike a homepage, which serves many audiences, a good landing page has one clear message, one offer, and one call to action, with distractions like full navigation stripped away. Matching the landing page tightly to the ad that sent the visitor (the same promise, the same keywords) lifts both conversion rate and, for Google Ads, Quality Score. Most underperforming ad campaigns are really underperforming landing pages.
