Our Pledge · Three Commitments, Written Down

What we owe the clients and the city.

Three pillars: transparency, ethics, social impact. Written down so they hold up over time, not just in the sales call.

The Three Pillars

Three commitments. Held in plain sight.

A pledge that isn't written down is a feeling. A pledge that is, is a contract with the people we serve.

i.

Transparency

Pricing, contracts, ad spend, reporting, and the work itself — visible to the client at all times. No black boxes; no “we'll explain later.”

  • 0% markup on ad spend. Ever. Billed directly to your accounts.
  • Pricing on the website. Anchor prices public; no hide-the-quote games.
  • Monthly reports in plain language. No vanity metrics, no jargon, no padding.
  • You own everything. Accounts, pixels, creative, brand files, data.
ii.

Ethics

No tricks. No fake reviews, no dark patterns, no over-promises in the sales call. We follow the platforms' terms of service whether anyone is checking or not.

  • No fake reviews, ever. We help you earn real ones via systematic workflow.
  • No incentives that violate Google or Meta's policies. Period.
  • No dark patterns in forms, pricing, or cancellation flows.
  • No 12-month lock-ins. Three-month minimum; honest exit if it's not working.
iii.

Social Impact

A studio that operates in a city has obligations to that city. We work pro-bono with one local non-profit per year and donate a percentage of yearly profit to community causes in BC.

  • One non-profit per year, pro-bono. Full Signature engagement, no charge.
  • 2% of profit donated annually to BC-based community causes.
  • Local hiring first. Vancouver-area contractors when the role allows.
  • Transparent giving. Recipients listed publicly on the studio's annual report.
Why we wrote this down

A pledge isn't a feeling. It's a contract.

This page exists because we got tired of agencies that talked about “trust” without committing to anything specific. Anyone can say they're transparent. We had to write down what that actually means for us, in numbers, so you can hold us to it.

The version of you that signs a contract isn't the version of you that delivers the work. Write the rules down for the second version.

If at any point in the engagement you feel one of these commitments isn't being kept — pricing isn't clear, ad spend has a hidden markup, a review you didn't earn shows up — tell us. The pledge is broken if you don't.

And if we ever change one of these commitments, we'll change it on this page first, dated, with the reason. Not in a footnote of a contract three layers deep. Here.
